Yr 12 Check List so far...

 Hi Yr 12,

Just a quick message to remind you all of what you should have posted on your blog so far.

ALL POSTS SHOULD HAVE VISUAL EFFECTS SUCH AS IMAGES/VIDEOS.


  • Coursework Brief- outlining your tasks and continuity sequence.
  • Equipment Identification and Understanding
  • Saul Bass Research - Including a brief history and analysis of 3 of his title films
  • In depth analysis of a Horror Still Image
  • Analysis of 3 Thriller films - Secret Window, Group film ( completed in class), Own choice Thriller.
  • Continuity Sequence storyboard
  • Continuity Sequence FINAL edited film with comments/analysis
  • Storyboard of Thriller Opening Sequence
  • Cast List (with explanations for choices) - try and get images of each cast member
  • Location Lists (with explanation for choices)
  • Shot Lists (with explanation for choices)
  • Mise-en-scene/Prop/Costume Lists (with explanation for choices)
  • Music/Sound (with explanation for choices)
  • Film Plot
  • Name of Film - with evidence of group discussion and reasons for choice
  • Inspirational Scenes - scenes from existing films that have inspired you choices for the film
  • Any group discussions/meetings documented.

Year 12 Assessment and Marking

I have started marking your blogs so make sure that everything has been completed, most urgently your continuity sequence. Remember if it's not there you will lose 15 marks - which means you will score a maximum of 5/20 !
